Olynyk wouldn’t solve every issue the Lakers have, but he would be of great help. His skill set would be a great asset to the Lakers, and a move to acquire him would be ignored.
Olynyk, who plays for the Jazz, has averaging eight points, 5.1 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game this season. But when it comes to three-point shooting, he is shooting 42.5%.
The Lakers offense would be fully unlocked by having a big man who could stride out to the arch and make three-pointers at such a high rate.Olynyk would fill in for Christian Wood, who the team had assumed would play that role.
The Lakers might be wary of him because he will be a free agency at the end of the season.
