Tennessee Volunteers News, Investigation and More Although Tennessee has been decently fruitful in this way distant on the 2025 selecting path, in some cases things don’t go your way.

Shamar Arnoux Decommits From Tennessee

Tennessee Volunteers News, Analysis and MoreAlthough Tennessee has been fairly successful thus far on the 2025 recruiting trail, sometimes things don’t go your way. On Saturday night, Carrollton High School corner Shamar Arnoux announced he was decommitting from the Volunteers. Arnoux is a cornerback prospect from Georgia, Tennessee’s first commit in the 2025 class. He is also a former teammate of Vols corner commits Dylan Lewis and Tyler Redmond.

Arnoux was visiting Georgia on Saturday before announcing his commitment from the University of Tennessee. He visited with current high school teammate and USC quarterback commit Julian Lewis. The Volunteers still have a very successful class and still have several top defensive back options on the board that they are high on. On X, the 2025 prospect posted a picture of his visit to Georgia with the caption, “This visit hit different.”

The Volunteers had many visitors on campus, including top targets such as Cameron Sparks, Ethan Utley, and more. It was unusual for a commit to visit a different school while their school of choice hosted a big recruiting event like junior day. Many thought that was odd; however, with the latest news release, it’s all started to come together. There are still some great options available on the board for the Volunteers, who have the No. 11 recruiting class in the 247Sports’ Composite Rankings.
